Day 5 Left the hotel fairly early and made our way to Carson City (Capital of Nevada). Quite surprised how small it was and apart from a few state buildings, the town was typical modern American. I then decided to visit Lake Tahoe which straddles the state line between Nevada and California. What a beautiful area. High in the mountains with the snow still in abundance, it was not hard to see why all the wealthy have homes here. Property was very expensive for such a remote area. It is actually about 76 miles to drive completely around the lake.
